Information for Board, Council, and Secretary candidates for the 2014 AGU election

Congratulations on being named to a 2015-2016 AGU Board, Council, or Secretary position! This is an exciting time to be involved in leadership at AGU.

On this page, you will find instructions and documents that need to be completed and returned to Margo Roberts (mroberts@agu.org) by 18 April. Each candidate needs to do four things:

  1. Review the election fact sheet, mark the key dates on your calendar, and familiarize yourself with the election code of conduct and guiding documents and principles.
  2. Complete theĀ bio information sheet and attach your CV formatted in the specified format. The CV is limited to no more than 2 pages.
  3. Read the guidelines for taking a photo with a smart phone and send a few shots to us for processing for publication.
  4. Find the appropriate document below based on the position you are nominated for, and answer the question established by the Governance Committee. Please note the word limit is 250 words.
